You can access our website without disclosing your identity. The browser used on your device only automatically sends information to the server of our website (e.g., browser type and version, date and time of access) to enable the connection to the website. This also includes the IP address of your requesting device. This is temporarily stored in a so-called log file and deleted after 4 weeks at the latest.

The processing of the IP address is carried out for technical and administrative purposes of connection establishment and stability, to ensure the security and functionality of our website, and to be able to track any unlawful attacks on it if necessary.

The legal basis for processing the IP address is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest arises from the aforementioned security interest and the necessity of providing our website without disruption.

From the processing of the IP address and other information in the log file, we cannot draw any direct conclusions about your identity.

Furthermore, we use cookies when you visit our website. Further explanations can be found below in this privacy information.

5. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device, they do not contain viruses, trojans, or other harmful software.

The cookie stores information that is specific to the respective end device used. However, this does not mean that we immediately receive knowledge of your identity.

The use of cookies serves on the one hand to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to enable session control or to store form inputs or shopping carts during the session. Session cookies are deleted at the latest when you close your web browser.

The data processed by cookies are necessary for the aforementioned purposes to safeguard our legitimate interests as well as those of third parties pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.

However, disabling cookies entirely may result in you not being able to use all the functions of our website.

6. Social-Media-Plugins

We use so-called social media buttons (also social media plugins) on our website. These are small buttons that allow you to publish content from our website on social networks under your profile.

If you activate such a button, a connection is established between our website and the social network. In addition to the relevant content, the operator of the social network receives further, partly personal information. This includes, for example, the fact that you are currently visiting our site.

The social media buttons are integrated using the so-called Shariff solution. This solution prevents a connection to a social network from being established simply because you visit a page with a social media button without activating it. This means that information will only be transmitted to the social network when you activate the button.
